Congrats on the N.Y.C. Grip tape release, definitely a way to start off the New 
Year. How's the feedback?

I'm real glad to hear the good feedback from the community.So far things are 

 looking great!Thanks to everyone making it out to the 

party that night!

What Sparked the idea of a grippy BRAND, and why? 

Ah man good question. I guess it started back in Lima, Peru when I first started 
skating. I would always see friends drawing stuff on there grip tape. And 
obviously I got into it more and more myself. Came time and I just thought NY 
needed something new instead of another board brand. That's pretty much it.

Any projects you're working on right now that you can share 
exclusively? 

I'm actually working on a new video part for 2012. Just trying to keep pushing 
the brand along with Shawn Powers and Rodney Torres. Keep an eye out on both 
those guys. They rip!

What are some words of advice you would give to a companion trying to reach 
their goals? 

Have fun and don't give up on them tricks!

 
What are some good/bad changes happening in NYC ? 

Most downtown spots are getting mest up. More security guards aren't letting 
anyone do anything down there. So I usually just stay out skating in Queens most 
of the time. FMP! I got mad love for the bx, bk and staten for sure.

 
What keeps you MOTIVATED ?

My girl,family and friends.

Grilled cheese rules.
